Self Care Sunday- Spring Edition

Happy almost Earth Day.

It’s finally starting to feel a little more like spring. It’s still been cool recently but the daffodils are starting to come up and I saw the first dandelion of the season recently. That was nice to see after the last few days of freeze warnings and having to wear a knit cap and scarf when going out.)

I love seeing nature awaken from its winter sleep. I also love the fresh spring colors. Along with pinks and blues, I’ve also been enjoying wearing purples. Here are a few favorite purple outfits.

This is the peasant dress in fortune teller print from Pinupgirl Clothing. Boots are A New Day from Target. Necklace is Kendra Scott x Target. Earrings are from Vixen by Micheline Pitt.

This is the Avon dress in lavender with the matching pillbox hat. Both are from Vixen by Micheline Pitt. Pin is from Besame Cosmetics. Earrings are from Utopiat and are based on the earplugs Holly Golightly used in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.

I’ve also recently tried light purple nail polish. When browsing at Target not too long ago, I found a couple really pretty shades from L. A. Girl and had to give them a try.

The color on the left is called “Iridescently Fab”. The one on the right is “Rock Candy”. I think they look really cool worn together. (It looks even more pearlescent in the sunlight.) It’s a bit of a different look for me but I like it. I’m looking forward to seeing what other beauty and fashion journeys the spring will bring.
