Early May Geeky Post

Last Saturday was Free Comic Book Day. It was a pleasant day and the first FCBD that felt close to normal since the pandemic. I was also looking forward to it because there was a new 15th Doctor comic this year.

I went to my usual comic shop, The Source Comics and Games. It was pretty crowded but there wasn’t a line out the door like there had been in previous years. They had bags of free comics to give out and tables in the back with a variety of comics artists selling artwork and merchandise. I got my free comics and looked around for a while. The line to check out was super long so I decided not to buy anything.

I got some really cool comics, but unfortunately I didn’t get the Doctor Who one. (This was like the third year I didn’t get that one.) Luckily, I was able to get it online later when I purchased a comic from mycomicshop.com.

It was also May 4th, Star Wars Day. I wore my Star wars skirt and sweater and matching jewelry from Her Universe.

This weekend, the new season of Doctor Who premieres on Disney+. I wore some of my Doctor Who jewelry today in honor of that. Here also are some Doctor Who outfits I have. Both the dress and the skirt are from Her Universe. (The skirt was the first Her Universe item I ever bought.)
